The purpose of this systematic review was to further our understanding of administrative corruption and integrity articles production. We conducted a “scoping review” of 156 articles from Iran published in three databases of Noormags, SID and Magiran. This study is one of the few reviews in the field of administrative corruption and the only review of administrative integrity in Iran which legitimizes the implementation of a scoping review on the knowledge base of corruption and administrative integrity. Data analysis focused on analyzing identified modal trends as well as highlighting variability in patterns of article production. Notably, 90% of the studies had been published in the past 10 years, used document analysis and survey method. Furthermore, almost 70% of the corpus consisted of empirical and quantitative studies. The relatively small number of conceptual papers hinders the capacity of Iranian scholars to adequately contextualize their research and limits the practical utility of findings. Eventually, the research gaps were identified.
